“We have just returned from a truly wonderful weekend, celebrating our Wedding Anniversary, at The Beach Escapes. We were absolutely thrilled to be the first guests to visit and stay. The Beach Escapes offers luxury accommodation built to a very high standard. The views are spectacular. Can’t recommend it enough and would give it five stars without hesitation. Sophie and Jon are so welcoming. We didn’t want to come home and we will be back.”

“Dear Sophie and Jon, thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful apartment. It somehow managed to combine luxury, practicality, and a sense of calm. You were both excellent hosts (there when needed and left us be.) The garden areas were perfect for our two dogs and that made our stay more relaxing. We would definitely recommend. We had a fantastic mini break and will be back.”

“We stayed at the beach escapes for the weekend after our wedding. We live in Australia and although I am originally from Hythe, it felt like a proper holiday from the moment we checked in and we felt really relaxed. We stayed in Gulls Rest which meant we had a lot of outdoor space, which was fantastic to enjoy the beach views while having a drink. Sophie is a fantastic host and went above and beyond to make sure we had a good stay. The apartment was beautiful and all of the finishing touches including the communal pantry and games are great. Thank you for a wonderful stay.”

“I wanted to put pen to paper to thank you for such a wonderful stay at your incredibly lovely apartment. It was far bigger than we had expected and decorated to such a high standard. Absolutely beautiful throughout. Having the large bedroom, two loos and a double sofa bed worked out really well as a family space and the corridor divides the rooms nicely. Lots of natural light as well. The two decks were perfect to sit out and lovely for the dogs; and so very private. Amazing to be able to walk straight up onto the beach promenade from our deck! The kitchen had everything we could have needed. Your kind hamper such a nice touch. And it was fantastic we could raid the larder with the honesty box for extras we had forgotten like marmite etc! Great joy to be able to park right outside.”

“I booked my parents 4 nights in Captains Cabin, one of the promenade level apartments. Sophie met us when we arrived and was so nice and helpful. The apartment was absolutely lovely and catered for all your needs. It was great for my parents, who are in their 80’s, as they could walk out of the apartment onto the seafront plus the town centre and canal aren’t too far to walk to. I asked my mum if she had any comments and she said one word….. excellent. Thank you Sophie, my parents had a great time in Hythe.”
